The L 2055 Fund’s investment objective is to achieve a high level of growth with a very low emphasis on preservation of assets. The fund’s allocation in the G, F, C, S, and I Funds is adjusted quarterly and it will roll into the L Income Fund in July 2055 when its allocation matches the L Income Fund.
Risk
The L 2055 Fund is designed to offer a diversified mix of the five individual TSP funds (G, F, C, S, and I) and seeks the best expected return for the amount of expected risk appropriate for its investors. Its target allocation is based on assumptions about future returns, inflation, economic growth, and interest rates, and the fund is rebalanced daily to stay on target; there is no guaranteed rate of return.
